Anyone have any good products/devices/techniques for protecting the front lip of your car from parking blocks? Im thinking along the lines of the splitter guards that look so good on dodges? The new bimmer is quite low... much lower than I’m used to with the old WRX .

I have no good way, which is why the splitter on my S40 got beat up enough I had to remove it after two years, and why my S60's lower bumper cover is more than a little chewed up.

Mainly I just curse whoever decided that these things needed to be so tall...

Yeah those weird concrete things in parking spaces that normally go under your car and stop the front wheels from rolling forward. I think that’s what they’re called? Now I’m not so sure...!

Right? Never been an issue for me before.  I wonder how those curb feelers you sometimes see on land yachts work? Maybe we need something like that

Ooh yeah, I guess they are called that.

I’ve just gotten used to stop pulling my car ahead till I hit them...tbh I never did use them to stop any car

You can argue on their looks all you want, but leaving them on is actually a bad idea. They’re just for shipping. They actually trap dirt and scratch the living shit out of the lip .

Just scrape the shit out of your bumper, so the next owner can curse you out for scraping the shit out of your bumper...

My Fiat had the front plate held by a bracket that connected somewhere under the front of the car. Wasn’t intended as a parking block protector but it gave a great warning noise  if I was getting too close.

Aha , that sounds good!  Got a front plate bracket already, I bet I can lower it a bit... perfect

Reverse.  That will save it.  Seriously though, backing in will eliminate the majority of incidents.  You could go with vinyl on the leading edge if you must, but if it’s just parking blocks, then yeah best bet is to back in.

There are these things

https://www.amazon.com/SLIPLO-Universal-Bumper-Scrape-Protector/dp/B086KZGZBD/ref=pd_lpo_263_t_1/134-7071516-2476530?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B086KZGZBD&pd_rd_r=7a0ca271-e1d9-48b7-81e3-be57e2fba768&pd_rd_w=icx0q&pd_rd_wg=c619o&pf_rd_p=7b36d496-f366-4631-94d3-61b87b52511b&pf_rd_r=C9KGRHA4B2S51VQTM1X5&psc=1&refRID=C9KGRHA4B2S51VQTM1X5

I cannot see them working well, they effectively make your bumper lower and make it more likely to scrape, then catch then cause additional damage.
